GA State Exam Registration:

Competed the 12-hour pre-certification course? The next step in the certification process is to register and take the Georgia Certified Process Server Exam. The Judicial Council/Administrative Office of the Courts administer the exam, and you must register and pay them directly. Click here: EXAM REGISTRATION and scroll to the bottom of that page.

2022 exams will be given at the GA JC/AOC building downtown: 104 Marietta St. NW, Atlanta, GA 30303, Room 1, from 9:45 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. on:

· June 24, 2022

· August 26, 2022

· October 14, 2022

To register for the exam, you must:

1) Create a profile in the Georgia Courts Registrar (GCR) . Their office will have to verify your account, including your completion of the 12-hour pre-certification course.

2) Once the profile is created please email gcr@georgiacourts.gov , to notify them that your profile is ready for verification. You will be notified once your profile has been verified, and then you may pay for and schedule your exam. Make sure your email includes a phone number to reach you if necessary. It would also be a good idea to mention on your email the date you completed the Pre-Certification class. No need to attach your Certificate, as attachments to emails can cause them to fail the firewall.

Your name, address, and phone on your initial GCR account MUST MATCH the information you gave on your class Registration.

Please be patient for their reply!

If you call for a status update, remember the same person that would be processing profiles and registrations is now having to answer the phone... calling is not going to accomplish any breaking in line! You know better than that! However, if you truly believe there has been a delay, they are happy to help you.

3) The email notification you receive from the GCR will have links and instructions for you to PAY $250 for the exam and choose a date to take it.

Be prepared to follow changing instructions from the GCR Team!

Just a friendly reminder that the Georgia Certified Process Server exam will be held Friday, March 11, 2022, at the State Bar of Georgia, located at 104 Marietta Street NW, Suite 100 Atlanta, GA 30303. The exam will take place in Room 1.

The exam starts at 10 a.m., sign-in registration starts at 9:45 a.m. Public parking is available; please see the attachment for details. Please remember to bring a government-issued picture ID.

EARLY CANCELLATIONS

To receive a refund, event registrations must be canceled, through the Georgia Courts Registrar Events page (https://gcr.onegovcloud.com/), by the registration deadline for the event.

LATE CANCELLATIONS

Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable for cancellations received after the events registration deadline. Hardship Exception: In cases of extraordinary hardship (e.g., military deployment or extreme illness or injury), an applicant may request that their registration fee be applied to an equivalent event. The applicant must, within six months, register for and attend an equivalent event; otherwise, all payments are forfeited.

NO SHOWS

Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable for no-shows for any event.
